I had to share my bathroom with the biggest spider I've ever seen in Thailand this year. It was a male; we decided to call him Aristide. I felt better afterwards; that day I experienced that naming things is a very efficient way to come to terms with them.

Well, you felt better cos you choose a cool name : "Aristide". Imagine you called it "Ugly Betty"...
AHAHAH!!... You're right, it would have been terrible -but impossible: I said it was a male ;-)
